Read Article →
Hey guys! I'm back with another swatch post. This is the Clio Art Lipstick swatches, I also have the lipgloss swatches ready which will go up within the week. There are a total of 25 shades but the shades that I was only able to swatch 6 of them. Nonetheless I hope you guys enjoy!

Clio is a Korean brand endorsed by Sandara Park from +2NE1 . They are best known for their waterproof eyeliners but they also carry a wide range of lip products. Also, if you are interested in Clio Lipnicure swatches, click here.

There are only 6 shades available in stores. They retail for S$23.90 and are available in Singapore at selected Watsons stores. Clio Art Lipstick have a very thick creamy consistency, very pigmented and smooth. They contain vitamin E and C ingredients to protect the lips and improve elasticity. I personally have not tried it on my lips so I cannot vouch for their moisturizing capabilities. I am particularly very interested in M017 Orange Coral which swatches beautifully and has such an amazing colour!

Just Ordered | Underwear of Sweden

Read Article →
Hey guys! I just ordered underwear wait what? swimmable underwear from Underwear of Sweden. I have been looking for a good support, padded bikini for as long as I can remember. For girls who has great assets, I envy you because you probably can live without padded bikini. For girls like myself, who is lacking a wee bit in the female frontal area, a little boost is godsend.

First time hearing of swimmable underwear? Apparently, swimmable underwear is just undies made of swimsuit material (nylon & spandex) and it has fast drying capabilities. Sounds like the best of both worlds to me!

I love the pattern on this. Very contrasting and unique. I also like how the cups are bigger so no accidental nip slips that may happen with a triangle bikini top. I ordered it off Singsale, which had a Underwear of Sweden event a couple of days ago. It was only S$29 for the whole set so amazing bargain for such a nice design (includes 2 straps, a halter bikini strap and a regular bra strap). I will have to judge the quality myself when the bikini set arrive, but from the pictures above, it looks amazing on the model. Fingers crossed that the sizes are right, with bikini sizes you really don't know how it looks until you try it on. Hopefully everything goes well! I'll update you guys when it arrives!

Check out this particular design here.

Loreal Colour Riche Le Vernis #204

Read Article →

Hey guys! Today's post will be swatches of the Loreal Colour Riche Le Vernis nail polish in shade 204. It is a gorgeous pinkish mauve shade that is amazing B.E.A.utiful on the nails.

If you have not joined my Christmas giveaway, there is still one more day left! There are not a lot of entries because I just changed my url not long ago so chances of winning is super high. There are going to be two giveaway winners so double the chances of getting prizes!

Similar in consistency with the Loreal Le Vernis shade 404, very thick and creamy. I only need 1 coat for a really nice opaque layer. The lasting power on these Le Vernis nail polishes aren't that impressive. They last around a week to a week and a half. I find that they peel faster if I apply 2 layers. I would recommend 204 if you are looking for a toned down, neutral shade that is beautiful yet not in-you-face. Seeing the small container, I don't think you can get much product out of it, maybe around 15 to max 20 applications.

I do own some nude nail polishes that are pretty similar to Le Vernis 204. Some would disagree that 204 as a nude shade, but for me it is pretty close, just more pink toned. From the left to right, Revlon 705 Grey Suede, OPI Tickle My Francy, Loreal Le Vernis 204.

OPI Tickle My Francy is one of my most worn nail polishes, I love how long lasting it is, and the colour is very similar to Le Vernis 204. The consistency is more watery, therefore it needs two or more coats, and has a more beige-y nude tone than Le Vernis 204. I don't really like Revlon Grey Suede, it has silver glitters in them and has a brownish tone to it despite looking rather pinkish in the bottle.

December Fashion haul | Zara, Cotton On, Forever21

Read Article →
Hey guys! This is my monthly fashion haul for the month of December. I didn't get anything initially but reaching the end of Dec I went shopping and ended up with bundles of shopping bags. I blame year end sales actually. So let's hop on to what I got this month!

I didn't shop at Forever 21 for quite some time, maybe around 6 months to a nearly a year? Some of their collections just didn't attract me, but F21 have really good stuff these few months. This time I got 2 pieces from them, a pair of tribal shorts and a black t-shirt dress. I love these shorts, they are a eye catching piece yet not too in-your-face. I got it in a S size and it retails for S$39.90. It is a bit on the pricey side for F21 bottoms but I really liked it.

From Zara, I got this very nice PU leather skirt. I have been on the lookout for a leather skirt for ages. This one in particular has a very soft texture to it, and it fits my body very well without making my bottom too wide which sometimes happen to tight leather skirts. And I liked the skirts' functional zipper details, a nice touch to a otherwise rather plain design.

My second piece from Forever21 is a maxi t-shirt dress. It reaches to my ankles and fits my body so well. You know sometimes maxis made of like a thin viscose material tends to stick to the body and emphasize on not only the fabs but also the flabs making it look very unattractive. This t-shirt maxi dress is made from cotton material so it isn't too bodycon. But it feels really nice quality, like a soft cotton blend material. I got the dress for S$27 and in a size S.

From Cotton On, I got another two maxi dresses at S$15 each (originally around S$30). They are made of soft cotton and also reach my ankles thank god for my height. They aren't the best of quality but for the price I really cannot complain much, I am going to pair the grey maxi with my Esprit denim jacket and it will look sweeeet. I got the black one in S and the grey one is XS because there were no smaller sizes left. The black dress is around 1 inch longer so I may have to get that altered.

Also from Cotton On, I saw that they had the charity shopper bags with cute rabbits printed on them. Of course I had to get it, and I was doing something good as well so why not. They are not suitable for carrying heavy materials such as books, groceries because their handles are so paper thin, they would break immediately. But they are great for storing clothes/accessories that you don't wear anymore and you are helping out the community, which is always very meaningful.

Okay thank you for reading! I'll see you in my next post!

Just Ordered | Soeurs.co

Read Article →

Hey guys! So following the whole holiday festive vibe, I have been shopping A.LOT. I haven't been shopping online lately so there is a lack of Just Ordered post. BUT, I just purchased 2 items from Soeurs.co. They are a based in Singapore founded by two sisters. I really like their website because they carry a lot of monochrome, black/white clothing which is the trend/style I am literally living in right now. So I usually follow their new collections very closely and very frequently I see something I like.

I saw a Japanese model wearing a similar Houndstooth Knit Tank in a Japanese magazine previously and I loved how she dressed it. She had long black wavy hair with red lips, very trendy and very seductive. Sadly it is sold out currently but click the join waiting list and maybe they would bring it back on the website.

I fell in love at first sight with the second piece which is their satin Marble Print Blouse. I have been looking for a very nice satin blouse for a long time, and I absolutely love the marble design for this blouse. I really think it looks great on any body type, and it makes you look very feminine and sexy and very Alexa Chung.

Check Soeurs.co out, I love their website and I'll update you guys when the items arrive!

Hannah

Revlon ColourBurst Laquer Balm Swatches

Read Article →

The Revlon ColourBurst Laquer Balm is a new lip range that came out in the fall of 2013. There are two versions of the ColourBurst crayon balms, a Lacquer finish and a Matte finish. Please do not confuse them with the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain which was released in the market back in 2012. Their packaging looks very similar for a distance so I can see how people can mistake them for each other.

The Lacquer balms come in a total of 10 shades and the Matte balm version only comes in 3 shades. Unfortunately, Singapore Watsons only carries 8 of the 10 shades currently, they may bring in more shades in the future, but if you want a complete set, you would need to purchase them online. They swatched beautifully, very creamy & soft in texture and I particularly really like to try 105 Demure which is a very pretty peachy nude shade. The ColourBurst Lacquer Balms retail for S$19.90 each and for the rich colour payoff, I think they are worth the try.

Loreal Colour Riche Le Vernis #404

Read Article →

Hey guys! In my last post I blogged about getting these lovely nail polishes from Loreal during a Watsons sales event. So today I have on shade 404 on my nails which is a burgundy, oxblood colour, they came out redder in the photos but they are a lot more darker and burgundy in real life.

The Colour Riche Le Vernis nail polishes are very pigmented, for the pictures above I only used 1 coat and I'm very pleased with how they came out. I have them on for about a week and my right thumb has chipped a little. I did get compliments from friends.

They retail for around S$8.90 each and contain only 5ml of product. For reference, Seche Vite is 14ml and OPI polishes are 15ml. So for the price of S$8.90 I would consider the Colour Riche Le Vernis polishes to be on the pricier side. I got them on sale for 2 for S$12 which is a good deal considering that they are mini sized and there are so many shades in the range to try out.

If there is a sale or promotion for these nail polishes, I would highly recommend you guys to try them out if you are looking for high quality nail polishes in almost any shade.

What I Got From Watsons Member Sale + Etude House Nails

Read Article →
So on the 27 December, Watsons had a huge member sale at almost all Watsons outlets and being a huge cheapskate bargain hunter myself , I grab quite a number of beauty items. Product prices were slashed 15%, 30% and even 50%, so you can imagine how big of a crowd there was.

The Loreal Shine Caresse lipglosses were 2 for S$25 and their original price was around S$18.90 so it was  a good bargain. I tried them out a few days ago and unfortunately, I am quite disappointed with them. Both lipglosses are very sticky and colour payoff is very weird. I should be doing a review on it soon so I am not going into details with it. I have it in shade 402 Milady and 101 Lolita.

Check out review for L'oreal Shine Caresse Lipgloss here.

The nail polishes are the Loreal Colour Riche Le Vernis shade 404 which is a burgundy colour and 204, a nice mauve-y pink shade. I have 404 on my nails and 204 on my toes right now and I am in LOVE with them. They are very opaque so I only needed 1 coat. The Colour Riche Le Vernis nail polishes are S$8.90 each and I got them for S$12 for 2.

Check out Loreal Colour Riche Le Vernis shade 404 here.

My friend raved about how amazing this Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express mascara was. She said it was easy to wash off which was what persuaded me into buying this because we all know my favourite mascara the Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus is pardon my language a bitch to remove. I didn't find it amazing at holding my curls, and it dries tacky so the lashes weigh down a bit unlike the Majolica Majorca one which dries crispy, like hairspray. But it does remove easily so I'll still keep it. It was on sale for S$13.20 from the usual S$18.90.

I also bought some nail stickers from Etude House. They have literally bazillion different patterns to choose from so I kinda went nuts over them. I especially love the patterned strips, very luxe and tux. The bows and little word bubbles stickers are so cute!!

Join my Christmas Giveaway if you haven't already! Link is right here!

A/N: I'm so back logged on posts! I still have not done my Dec fashion haul yikes! and I promised a New Years giveaway which is so overdue, so scratch that, I will be doing a Bloglovin' 100 Followers giveaway instead which hopefully will be up soon, pinky promise!!

Hannah
