Just Ordered | Lambretta Franco Silver Mesh Watch

Read Article →

I have a very small collection of watches. My everyday watch is the one I bought from Korea which has sadly ran out of battery and sometimes I wear slightly flashy ones like my gold Casio watch and rose gold watch from Lovisa. I tend to go for watches with a more simple, minimalistic look rather than ones with bold colours.

I just placed an order for the Lambretta Franco Silver Mesh Watch which fell in love at first sight. I love the simplicity of this watch, the white on black colour combination. I also am really into the mesh strap design, it really makes the watch a conversation piece.

Lambretta watches come in many different colours and I was without a doubt attracted to the black and white Franco watch. Love that the design is feminine yet has a tint of masculinity in it. The only downside is that I probably have to get the strap adjusted so hopefully I can get my handyman dad to help fix it.

I'll let you guys know what I think about the watch when it arrives! Cheers!

Cap: ASOS Leather Cap / Sunglasses: Celine Audrey Sunglasses / Heels: ASOS Hostage Heel Sandals / Heels: Zara Mid-heel Sandals With Ankle Strap

I have been on the look out for a nice mid-heel comfortable sandal heels since they are really popular now. I really like the design of the Zara ankle strap sandals. It is a very classic piece that I can wear for all occasions and the height makes it suitable for walking long periods of time. I actually went to various Zara to find this particular pair of ankle strap sandals but could not find it. I'm guessing either they don't carry it here or they are all sold out. Boo!

The ASOS strappy heel is another favourite albeit a little a lot more expensive. But I really like the thin straps and hey it does look a little like the Zara Sandals that I posted a few days ago right?

Zara Sandals

I LOVE the Celine shades. If I can own just 1 pair of sunglasses, it will no doubt be the Celine Audrey sunglasses. It has the perfect classic shape and just the right size. I believe the tortoiseshell shade is most popular since it is almost sold out everywhere online.

I can easily match all the above items with just a white tee and skinnies and look fabulous anytime. On bad hair days you can just throw on a leather cap like the one from ASOS and run some errands!

Summer Must-Have Blushes

Read Article →

Hi guys! So we are entering into Summer season now and the weather is HOT! The first thing when the word summer comes into my mind is definitely sun-kissed skin. For pale girls like myself that could not ever get a tan to stay longer than a day is in trouble and here in the southeastern Asia, self tanner isn't a commodity that we can get off the shelf at beauty supplies stores. So a tip I use to get radiant, healthy looking skin is by using blushes.

Below are a few blushes from my blush collection that I feel tags really well with summer. For summer, I feel that warm coral blush tones are able to achieve the appearance of sun-kissed skin better than cool tones like purple blushes.

From L-R: The Body Shop All-In-One Cheek Colour Shade 01 Macaroon / NYX Blush 08 Cinnamon / MAC Sheertone Blush Pink Swoon / MAC Powder Blush Fleur Power / The Body Shop Cheek Blush Shade 01 Vibrant Rose.

From L-R: MAC Powder Blush Fleur Power / The Body Shop Cheek Blush Shade 01 Vibrant Rose

*Swatches are in same order as blushes

Orange has been a really hit colour these 2 years and if you are looking for a true orange blush, definitely consider getting NYX Cinnamon. The Body Shop Macaroon is another great take on orange blushes but much much more toned down. I would say it is more of a peach colour.

If orange isn't your thing, there is always MAC Fleur Power which gives a warm rosey glow to the cheeks. You do need a really light hand when using this blush. I use this blush to achieve a I've-been-out-in-the-sun-for-a-while without the lobster red face that comes with it.

Of course an everyday pink shade for summer would be Pink Swoon which is a bright peachy pink with a warm undertone and a shimmery pink blush from The Body Shop Vibrant Rose. I actually have been wearing Vibrant Rose almost daily these past few weeks. The sponge applicator makes application so easy, I just tap the applicator on my apples and blend it out with a blush brush. The shimmer is almost non visible when applied but gives a really nice glow and shine under the sun.

That's all guys! Let me know in the comments below which blush is your favourite blush for summer and I'll see you guys in my next post!

Just a quick outfit summary over the month of April. I am still down with flu and coming up with a bad sore throat, being sick really sucks! Whenever I cough, the people surrounding literally flee.

Outfit 1, outfit 2, outfit 3, outfit 4.

I've been really into the monochrome theme lately so below are 2 pairs of ZARA sandals that I have really been thinking of getting. I am geared towards the black & white one but the yellow one is great as a pop of colour whenever I am wearing dull shade. Let me know in the comments below which colour to pick!  I'll see you guys soon! Sorry for the short post! Cheers!

Small Haul - Zara, H&M

Read Article →

Bought a few stuff during a shopping trip I had and I wanted to share them with you guys! Isn't the Zara skirt absolutely stunning? I love the tribal prints and the 2 neon piping is just LOVE! Neon is really trendy this season, I'm sure everyone knows that already, I mean neon is literally EVERYWHERE in F21, H&M, Zara and Topshop.

Which leads me to my next lace tee from H&M, it was on sale and my friend picked it out for me. It is a neon coral shade and I would match this piece with like a black inner tube and some high waist denim shorts. It doesn't look so neon in the picture but it is pretty in-your-face in real life. I also got a tank top with 'TRILLIT' from H&M printed on it which I have no idea what it means but I love the soft cotton material and the cutting is nice & flowy.Very appropriate for the hot weather now.

These items should still be available in stores since I just bought them a few days ago. I cannot wait to wear them out!

I'll leave more details of the clothing to May's monthly haul post so please stay tune for that which will be up really soon. I will see you guys in my next post! Cheers!

eFoxCity

Read Article →
Hi guys! I was contacted by eFoxCity recently for a partnership with them. I researched a little and found out that they have contacted quite a number of fashion bloggers as well and if you are a blogger like myself, you may be interested to get sponsored as well.

eFoxCity is an online boutique based in Asia selling tons of wholesale clothing, cocktail dresses and affordable prom dresses. I was very impressed by the selection of clothing and their designs are definitely something that I would purchase in boutiques with the high price tags.

And their shipping to Singapore is less than S$10 which isn’t too bad (shipping depends on the weight of the product but for most items, shipping should be around S$10).

There are many apparels inspired from Zara, ASOS, H&M and styles similar to clothing at Romwe and SheInside at a fraction of the price. Below are some of my favourite pieces on the site.

I LOVE all these pieces, I am seriously considering purchasing them if my measly budget allows. If you guys are interested in any of the pieces, just click on the header of each piece and it'll link you directly to the particular item.

If you haven’t join my SKII Facial Treatment Essence giveaway, please feel free to click the link to the giveaway post! Thank you for reading, if you have any questions or suggestions, please leave them in the comments section below or email me at ar_enquiry@hotmail.com.

Let me know which pieces are your favourite and also, if you are a blogger and are interested in bloggers program, do contact them. Cheers! :)

April Fashion Haul | River Island, Stylemint

Read Article →
Hi guys! Today's post will be my fashion haul for the month of April. If you are new here, I do monthly fashion hauls on stuff that I got throughout the month. I'm a little late on the April's haul so please forgive me and let's get into it.

River Island
Dress: River Island Grey Tattoo T-Shirt Dress/ Sweater: River Island Navy Daisy Jumper

From River Island, I got 2 pieces of clothing. A Daisy Jumper and a Geometric Print Dress. I got the Jumper in a UK6 because all the other sizes were sold out, it fits me pretty well since it is very stretchy. I love anything floral and the jumper just looks so cute and feminine. It was on sale for £15 originally  £38.

The Geometric dress reaches to my mid knees, it is very flattering on my body, makes it look much longer than it really is. I really love the geometric print, it resembles crop circles I have no idea why I would link them together, but I like it. I got it in UK10, it fits me absolutely well. It was on sale on River Island for £12 original price was £25. It is still available on sale at ASOS for £17.50 so you can still get it if you're interested.

Stylemint
Dress: Vaneza Dress in Tribal Print / Skirt: Tristen Skirt in Blue / Trousers: Tribeca Pants in Heather Grey / All from Stylemint

I got 3 items from Stylemint, the Vaneza Dress in Tribal Print, Tristen Skirt in blue and Tribeca Pants in Heather Grey. I've worn this dress multiple times way too much than I should be wearing, and every time I wear it, people ask me where I got it from. I find that all Stylemint apparels are made of soft, comfortable thin cotton material that are great for summer. You may think that since the material is soft, it must be unflattering on the body, but in actual fact, it really hides all the flaws well, and makes me look 'very skinny' even though it has horizontal lines, as quoted from my friend. I got it in Size 1 and it was on sale for S$19.

The Tristen Skirt was on sale for only S$7! I was totally excited for this piece because I love floral stuff duh and the price is just alluring. The material is again made from soft cotton and I got it in size 2 because I don't like bodycon skirts to be too tight in an unflattering way. But this skirt fits perfectly!

The Tribeca Pants looks like a regular lounge-wear pants but can definitely be jazzed up with some sandal heels which I am on a crazy hunt for a perfect pair, and some nice cream chiffon blouse topped with sunnies. I love the rolled up edges and side pockets. If you fancy the lazy casual chic styles, this is a must have if you like those looks. I got it in a size 1 and it was around S$17.

H&M/Puma
Shorts: H&M High Waist Acid Washed Denim / Shoes: Puma 917 Lo PopArt

I got these high waist denim shorts from H&M for S$25. They aren't the regular high waist shorts that does right up the belly, these pair sits on the belly button and I love the ripped edges. They are on the slightly shorter side so they are great for summer seaside activities.

These Puma sneakers were from SingSale, they are from the Pop Art line which are inspired by the works of Roy Lichtenstein. They look very cute even in real life. I got it for around S$33, they fit kind of small but I'll try expanding it a little and it will fit perfectly. I got a Men's US Size 6 which converts to a Female US Size 8. One problem is that they are a little too white for my liking so I may try to do a DIY on it, maybe some tribal doodlings with fabric markers.I'll definitely do a DIY post if it succeeds!

That's all for this month's fashion haul, I will be back with May's haul very soon so please keep a lookout for it. As always, if you have any questions, suggestions etc please leave them in the comments section below or email me at ar_enquiry@hotmail.com. Check out my current giveaway here and I'll see you guys in my next post! Cheers!

So tell me, which pieces in this month's haul are your favourite?

Hannah

Cardigan: Cotton On / Bottom: Zara / Bag:Levi's / Top: Mango / Shoes: Payless

I took this photo probably 2 months ago and I totally forgot to post it up *silly me. I wore this outfit recently to a beach day-cation at Sentosa. This outfit has a beach/nautical feel to it, probably because of the navy horizontal stripes on the shorts and a cardigan when it gets cold at night.  And for all outings, a camera is a necessity especially with the Fujifilm Polariod Camera Instax 7s I got recently. The snacks are actually pistachios which is my all time favourite titbits whenever my mouth itches.

I'll be back hopefully tomorrow with my April fashion haul so please stay tune for that! Join my SKII Facial Treatment Essence giveaway if you haven't already! See you guys in my next post! Cheers :)

Pandora Bracelet

Read Article →

I got this bracelet as a gift from a friend of mine for my birthday. I have always been a fan of silver metal bracelets, I have a couple of silver chain bracelets which I always wear almost everyday. This silver bracelet from Pandora is made from quality sterling silver and it looks so extremely classy & dainty. The simple and minimalistic look of it gives any outfit a extra touch of glamor.

The clasps does get a little hard to unlock, especially with short nails, they tend to break manicured nails too so do take note. But a trick I found was to use a bobby pin and slide it into the slit to unclasp. I think the Pandora bracelets are great gifts for I can definitely see myself wearing it for years to come.

They are definitely on the more expensive side so they are great gifts for your 'special ones'. Let me know in the comments below if you have a favourite brand of jewellery or even your favourite arm candy!

I'll see you guys in my next posts! Cheers :)

Luxury buys - LANVIN ECLAT D'ARPEGE perfume

Read Article →

Hey guys! I'm back from my break now so I will be updating very often, hopefully a post a day *fingers crossed*. I am also very ill at the moment, my body functions very differently, some people get acne when they are stressed or insomnia but I get very sick whenever I'm stressed. So I'm writing this blog post with a huge tissue box right by my side.

I bought my all time favourite perfume - the ECLAT D'ARPEGE by LANVIN. It has one of the most unforgettable scent to it that is very unique, most people that I know were all pleasantly surprise by the scent. It is hard to describe the scent since I don't think I have came across a similar scent anywhere before, websites says that it is fruity-floral perfume but I really don't think it smells fruity or floral in particular. It does smell very delicate and sophisticated.

The packaging is absolutely gorgeous! The exquisite looking glass bottle resembles an exotic potion filled with beautiful lilac liquid. The outer shell makes everything look like a exhibition piece. 2 thumbs up! The only down side is that it is quite expensive.

I haven't heard of a negative reaction to the eclat d'arpege, so if you guys are looking for one that has a mild, soft scent, I highly recommend you guys to take a whiff of it at perfume stores. I got the 100ml bottle and it ranges from about S$100-$130 depending on where you get it. You can get it from here.

I'll see you guys in my next post!

Just Ordered | River Island

Read Article →
Hey guys! Sorry for the long wait, I wanted to give you guys a quick update. I just ordered some stuff from River Island so I want to share with you guys what I ordered.

I have been looking out for a nice black jacket that is casual yet smart enough for going out to movies, dinner dates at restaurants, semi formal events etc. For the past few months, I have been eyeing this jacket on River Island but I always bought something else instead. I finally dropped the bomb and got it yesterday and I am absolutely excited for it to arrive. It was reduced from £40 to £20.

I also got a long dark blue denim skirt. I do not have any denim skirts in my wardrobe and recently I have been really into longer tight skirts, I think that they are sexy, elegant, classy and brings out the curves in a feminine body line. I think this piece will go well with a printed white cotton tee with rolled up sleeves w some Dr Martens or chucks. The denim skirt was £10.

The third item I got is a light blue ripped denim jacket from the men's section. I bought it to wear it oversized so I up-ed a few sizes. I think it would be really nice for casual shopping days. I forgot to save a picture of it before it went oos but I will definitely post up photos when they arrive. It was £15 from the men's sale section.

That's all folks! I'm so sorry there are not much posts, I'll be back as soon as possible! As usual if you have any questions, please leave me a comment or email me at ar_enquiry@hotmail.com :) I'll see you guys soon!

Love,
Hannah
